Man gets 2-year term for injuring infant son
5/15/2008A Sylvania Township man who injured his infant son by shaking him in 2006 was sentenced yesterday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to more than two years in prison.
Judge Linda Jennings imposed a one-year, two-month prison term on Demian Browning, 32, of 3230 Centennial Rd., Apt. 95 for attempted child endangering.
He also received an additional one-year, two-month sentence from Judge Jennings for a community-control violation stemming from a 2006 conviction in Common Pleas Court for attempted gross sexual imposition.
The defendant s son, Ozzy Browning, was 4 months old in April, 2006, when he suffered brain injuries consistent with being shaken, authorities said.
