Salon co-owner acquitted in ex-employee s shooting

A local hair salon co-owner charged with shooting a former employee in the leg was acquitted yesterday by a Lucas County Common Pleas Court jury.

Kimberly Pattin, 39, of 4515 West Bancroft St., Apt. 7, was found not guilty of felonious assault with a firearm specification. Jurors also considered but acquitted Ms. Pattin on a negligent assault charge.

Keith Pressley was shot in the upper thigh with a 22-caliber handgun Sept. 7 during a quarrel with Ms. Pattin at Kim & L Kuttin Up, 12 East Bancroft St.
