BOWLING GREEN A St. Augustine, Fla., man accused of trying to lure two young girls into his car at the Hoytville village park has been found incompetent to stand trial.

Patrick L. Kidwell, Jr., 44, was ordered by Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex to be placed at Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare, Toledo, for no more than a year to be restored to competency.

An evaluation by the Court Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Toledo, indicated Mr. Kidwell was suffering from a delusional disorder, according to court records.

In April, Mr. Kidwell was indicted by a Wood County grand jury on two counts each of attempted kidnapping and attempted abduction after he was accused of trying to kidnap the girls, ages 7 and 10, from the park on April 8.
