Hancock County murder suspect to get 3rd psychological test

FINDLAY A Hancock County woman charged with killing her mother and trying to kill her partner last year is to undergo a third psychological evaluation.

Hancock County Common Pleas Judge Reginald Routson yesterday granted a motion for Linda Brown, 38, of Arcadia to undergo testing requested by her attorney. Results of the second exam were not disclosed.

After the first evaluation, she was deemed competent to stand trial but was found to be under a mental defect at the time of her mother s death.

Brown is charged with aggravated murder in the June 28, 2007, slaying of Winifred Brown, 75, and attempted murder for attacking Jill Darnell, 49, in the Cass Township home the three women shared.
