3 get prison for burglary in March in West Toledo

Three Toledo men found guilty of involvement in a burglary in West Toledo in March were sentenced yesterday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to prison terms.

The men took flat-screen televisions during a burglary March 28 at a home in the 6000 block of Thousand Oaks Drive, authorities said.

Steven Willis, 22, of 1643 Macomber St., who was found guilty last month on two counts of burglary, was sentenced by Judge Charles Doneghy to four years in prison.

Christopher Draper, 23, of 2833 Rockwood Place and Darren Parks, 22, of 1407 Prospect Ave., who were found guilty of attempted burglary, were sentenced to one year in prison.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ronald Johnson, 19, of 421 Spencer St., charging him with burglary and theft in connection with the break-in.

Police recovered three flat-screen televisions and other stolen property.
