BOWLING GREEN A Perrysburg Township man who stole more than $66,000 from his former employer was sentenced yesterday to four months in the Wood County jail and ordered to pay full restitution.

Michael Forwerck, 34, pleaded guilty in July to theft and unauthorized use of a company computer for embezzling from Clarke Power Products on Glenwood Road between July, 2005, and January.

Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Reeve Kelsey also placed Forwerck on community control for four years and ordered him to perform 400 hours of community service.

Prosecutors said Forwerck set up a dummy account through which he received payments for products shipped to customers, then would list those orders as warranty parts with no payment required, and pocket the money.
