LIMA, Ohio A Lima man charged with a drive-by shooting that left a Lima woman dead pleaded guilty yesterday to three felonies stemming from the April 29 homicide.
Tony Curtis, Jr., 21, is to be sentenced Nov. 3 by Allen County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Reed.
Curtis pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification, attempted aggravated murder with a gun specification, and discharging a firearm on a public roadway.
Curtis shot and killed Wendy Westergaard, 38, as she was driving along West Market Street. Police said a passenger in her vehicle, Durelle Grant, 19, was actually the target of the drive-by shooting.
Mr. Grant is charged with robbing a suspected drug dealer the incident that sparked the shooting.
