BOWLING GREEN A 16-year-old Toledo girl who threw a chair over a balcony in the Wood County Courthouse was found delinquent in connection with vandalism yesterday in Wood County Juvenile Court.

The teenager admitted to the fifth-degree felony the equivalent of a guilty plea and Judge David Woessner agreed to the prosecutor s request to transfer the case to Lucas County Juvenile Court for sentencing. She faces up to 90 days in detention.

The girl and family members were leaving Judge Reeve Kelsey s third-floor courtroom July 21 when the girl picked up a wooden chair and threw it into the courthouse s central stairwell, shattering the chair and damaging the stair rail on the first floor.
