Man shot at West Toledo apartment complex

A man was shot in the left arm Wednesday night in a parking lot at a West Toledo apartment complex, Toledo police said.

Kenneth Parker Jr., whose age and address were not immediately available, was treated at Toledo Hospital with a non-life-threatening wound, police said.

The shooting occurred about 9:20 p.m. apparently in a parking lot at the Kenwood Gardens apartment complex in the 2700 block of Alisdale Drive, officers said.

Police responding to a report of shots fired found Mr. Parker bleeding from the wound in a hallway of a nearby apartment. He told police he was shot in a parking lot nearby but did not explain exactly how it happened, officers said.

There was no word on arrests as of 8 a.m. Thursday. The incident remained under investigation.
