Toledo police issued an arrest warrant for an east side man accused of burning his wife s arm with a hot iron during an argument Sunday, authorities said.

Robert Rudess, Jr., 45, of 1102 Nevada St., was charged with felonious assault.

Yolanda Rudess, 51, also of the Nevada address, was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where a nursing supervisor said yesterday she had no information on a patient by that name.

Mrs. Rudess and her husband were arguing about 2 p.m. when Mr. Rudess grabbed a hot iron and placed it on her upper left arm, causing second-degree burns, police said.

Mr. Rudess tried then to put the iron on Mrs. Rudess face, but she was able to get away, police said.
