LAMBERTVILLE - An Ann Arbor, Mich. man was killed Saturday evening in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Bedford Township.

Jason S. Warmbier, 35, was pronounced dead after being taken to Toledo Hospital. Celia R. Pixley, 24, of Erie, Mich., has been discharged from the hospital while her 4-year-old passenger, Mya Pixley, was listed in fair condition Saturday night. A nursing supervisor said Sunday morning that the hospital had no information on a patient by that name.

Mr. Warmbier was driving north on Douglas Road at 7:09 p.m. Saturday night, when he stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Samaria Road, and then entered the intersection in front of Ms. Pixley, who was driving her Jeep Grand Cherokee east on Samaria and had the right-of-way, the Monroe County Sheriff’s office said. The two vehicles collided.

Authorities said alcohol does not appear to be a factor and everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
