Perrysburg ex-principal's case goes to grand jury
11/7/2008Patrick Calvin, the former principal of Perrysburg Junior High School who is charged with one count of theft in office, yesterday waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Perrysburg Municipal Court, and his case was bound over to the Wood County grand jury.
Mr. Calvin, 44, is accused of stealing almost $2,200 from various accounts at the junior high.
He has pleaded not guilty to the felony charge, and is in the process of appealing a termination decision by the Perrysburg Board of Education.
