A South Carolina charter airline is adding service to Myrtle Beach, S.C. and extending its service to Florida from Toledo Express Airport, officials announced Friday morning.
Direct Air will begin service on March 6 with flights twice a week to Myrtle Beach.
It will continue with plans to fly twice a week to Punta Gorda, Fla., beginning on Nov. 24. But the airline announced that those flights have been extended through May 18.
In September, Direct Air made its initial announcement about offering the Florida service.
That was made just days after Delta Connection and Continental Connection air service ended at the Toledo airport.
