Toledo area Holiday schedule

City offices in Toledo, Maumee, Northwood, Oregon, Perrysburg, Rossford, and Sylvania will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. Ottawa Hills offices will be closed Thursday only.

Lucas County offices and the county s auto title offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.

State and federal offices will be closed Thursday. Call for Friday hours.

Businesses

All banks, financial institutions, banking centers, bank mart locations, and in-store banking centers will be closed Thursday.

Shopping centers will be closed on Thursday. Individual stores may have separate hours.

Schools

Toledo and Lucas County public and parochial schools will be closed Thursday and Friday. Individual schools may have a different schedule.

The University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Lourdes College, Davis College, and Owens Community College will have no classes from Wednesday through the weekend.

The University of Toledo health science campus will have no classes Thursday and Friday. Some programs may have a different schedule.

Public utilities

Toledo Edison office and phone service and Columbia Gas phone center will be closed Thursday and Friday. Only emergency services will be available.

Libraries

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library and branches will be closed from 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday, reopening on Friday.

Mail service

There will be no mail delivery on Thursday, no collection of mail in the city, and no window services at the Main Post Office or any of the classified stations or branches.

The Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit will be closed. Express Mail service will be available from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Bus service

Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses will operate on a holiday schedule Thursday and a regular no-school schedule Friday.

Trash pickup

Regular trash pickup on Thursday and Friday will be delayed a day in Toledo and outlying areas. Thursday garbage pickup in Ottawa Hills will be a day early, on Wednesday.

Parking

Meter parking in downtown Toledo will be free Thursday.
