BOWLING GREEN A North Baltimore, Ohio, man suspected in a rash of rural Wood County burglaries pleaded guilty yesterday to nine felonies.

Anthony Sheeks, 24, entered the pleas in Wood County Common Pleas Court to seven counts of complicity to burglary and one count each of tampering with evidence and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.

County Assistant Prosecutor Gwen Howe Gebers told Judge Alan Mayberry three other charges would be dismissed as part of a plea agreement. She said Sheeks had agreed to a 15-year prison sentence.

Judge Mayberry scheduled sentencing for Jan. 30.

Sheeks was the first to enter a plea among a group of suspects arrested in July for a series of daytime break-ins in the county.
