Elmore motorist injured seriously in crash on State Rt. 105

OAK HARBOR An Elmore man was injured when his pickup struck an embankment, several trees, and overturned on State Rt. 105, about five miles west of here, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Clint E Wagner, 33, was taken by helicopter to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition. Mr. Wagner was eastbound at 3:22 p.m. when he went off the left side of the road, troopers from the Sandusky Post said.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for 90 minutes, until a tree knocked over by the collision was removed from the road.

Mr. Wagner was not wearing a seat belt, and the crash remains under investigation.
