Radio personality stabbed; man arrested

Toledo-area radio personality Troy Neff was recovering Thursday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after being stabbed several times earlier in the evening on Holiday Lane in Perrysburg Township, near the U.S. 20/I-75 interchange, authorities said.

Mr. Neff s condition was not available. He was stabbed three times in the left arm and shoulder.

Jeffery Hardeman of Knoxville, Tenn., was arrested about three hours after the incident and charged with felonious assault.

He was being held in the Wood County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond, authorities said.

Police believe the stabbing about 6 p.m. stemmed from a road-rage incident.

They reported that the suspect cut off Mr. Neff s car, and the two men ended up in a parking lot where the stabbing occurred.
