MONROE A 20-year-old Dundee man was arrested Wednesday in his father s car minutes after he was accused of robbing a Monroe Bank & Trust branch at 750 South Raisinvulle Rd., a Monroe County sheriff s detective said.

The man s identity was not released pending an appearance Thursday in Monroe County District Court. He was held in the county jail.

A man walked into the branch about 2:35 p.m. and handed a note that ordered the teller to give him $50s and $100s in 30 seconds , Detective Sgt. Heath Velliquette said.

The man, who did not have a weapon, drove off with an undisclosed amount of money.

About three minutes later, deputies stopped a car at East Dunbar Road, east of Keegan Road, matching a description that was broadcast and arrested the man, Sergeant Velliquette said.
