Sledders ignore the bone-chilling cold as they use the hill at Sylvania Northview High School. Temperatures in the single digits and persistent wind made for a second straight frigid day in the Toledo area Monday, with the wind continuing to play havoc with icy power lines.

Hundreds of AEP and Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative customers, including the Owens Community College satellite campus in Findlay, were blacked out at various times. While AEP reported all power had been restored by early evening, Hancock-Wood said some of its customers lights might not be back on until Wednesday.

Warmer air is forecast to move into the region today, but along with it, another winter storm is expected to deliver a mixture of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain into Wednesday.
