Findlay picks up tree limbs, but not Christmas trees

12/27/2008

FINDLAY City crews on Monday will be picking up tree limbs from storm damage but not Christmas trees.

Because of budget cuts, Findlay won t pick up discarded Christmas trees this year. Mayor Pete Sehnert said residents may drop off trees, with decorations removed, at the street department, 330 North Cory St., or at the southernmost parking lot at Emory Adams Park between daylight and dusk.

Limbs felled by recent storms should be placed between the sidewalk and curb, but not in the street. Crews will make one pass through each neighborhood, beginning on the city s north side.
