Bowling Green firefighters work on an early morning fire that destroyed two apartments at a 21-unit apartment building at Seventh Street and South College Avenue in the city Monday.

Firefighters were called to Foxwood Manor, 839 Seventh St., a three-story, wood-frame building, at 6:36 a.m. Bowling Green fire Capt. Tom Sanderson said occupants of both apartments on fire had gotten out before firefighters arrived.

Police Lt. Brad Biller said six to 10 residents were evacuated from the other apartments, many of which were vacant because Bowling Green State University students remain on winter break.

No injuries were reported.
