Two southbound lanes of I-75 between the South Avenue entrance ramp and Miami Street exit remain closed Thursday morning after an accident involving a TARTA bus and police cruiser, authorities said.

The bus apparently struck the police vehicle as it was responding to another accident on the bridge, police said.

The officers received minor injuries.

A car rolled over on northbound I-75 near the I-475 split near downtown about 8:15 a.m. after striking a snow plow.

Toledo police have shut down one lane of I-75 to clear the wreckage. The driver was taken by a private auto to a hospital for minor injuries, authorities said.

The Ohio Highway Patrol responded to an injury accident about 6:15 a.m. on Airport Highway near Spring Meadows involving multiple cars.

The crash slowed traffic in the area, troopers at the patrol s Toledo post said.

Defiance, Fulton, Wood, and Sandusky counties are under a Level 1 snow emergency Thursday morning, which means drivers should drive cautiously.
