BOWLING GREEN - Police are questioning a man and a woman suspected of breaking into Fricker's Restaurant and another woman who may be an accomplice in the Thursday morning break-in.

Bowling Green Police Lt. Tony Hetrick said a break-in was reported at the East Wooster Street restaurant about 4:15 a.m. Police converged on the Buckeye Inn & Studios after a snow plow driver reported seeing someone walk to the hotel and an officer saw a car drive from the area toward the hotel.

When officers went to the hotel room where the suspects were believed to be, one of the suspects jumped out a window barefoot. A female in the room was taken into custody.

Lieutenant Hetrick said that after several hours of searching, an officer spotted a suspicious person hiding in a car headed for the interstate. The vehicle fled from police then was stopped on I-75 about 8:30 a.m., and the suspects were taken into custody. No charges had been filed as of early Thursday.
