Man shot in Lima

LIMA A man was shot about 3:40 a.m. Sunday on Saint Johns Avenue, Lima police said.

The victim, Akil Abdullah, 43, was taken to an area hospital, officers said. His address and condition were not released.

Authorities released no further details about the shooting as of noon Sunday.
