Defiance woman named to heritage corridor post

Cindy Mack of Defiance has been named to the Maumee Valley Heritage Corridor s board of trustees.

The heritage corridor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the history, natural resources, and attractions of the Maumee Valley, according to a news release announcing Mrs. Mack s selection to the board.

Mrs. Mack is the executive director of the Defiance Development and Visitors Bureau.

The heritage corridor s board is made up of of volunteers from the Maumee Valley watershed, which includes Bowling Green, Defiance, Deshler, Findlay, Napoleon, Oakwood, Ottawa Hills, Pemberville, Perrysburg, Toledo, and Sylvania in Ohio and the Indiana communities of Fort Wayne and New Haven.
