Dana delays annual earnings report, blames economy

2/23/2009

Toledo s Dana Holding Corp., which was to announce its 2008 earnings Wednesday, said Monday that it is delaying its financial report until March 16.

The delay was attributed to rapidly changing economic conditions, including global vehicle production levels, so the automotive parts company is still in the process of finalizing its 2008 financial picture.

As a result, the firm now will disclose its performance at the same time it files its report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The SEC filing typically comes a few weeks after the earnings announcement.
