Man is accused of felony after fight in B.G. bar

BOWLING GREEN A 28-year-old man remained in the Wood County jail without bond last night after he was accused of throwing a shot glass during a bar fight, striking a woman in the face, police said.

Joshua Baker was charged with felonious assault. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in Bowling Green Municipal Court. He was arrested about 10 a.m. yesterday and admitted being in a fight with a man Feb. 1 at the Cla-Zel Bar, 127 Main St. He denied throwing the shot glass, police said.

The victim, described by police as an innocent bystander, suffered a broken nose, facial fractures, broken teeth, and soft-tissue damage, police said.
