A 28-year-old Toledo woman was arrested by Rossford police Sunday after leading officers on a chase that ended when the suspected stolen vehicle she was driving lost its front tire, authorities said.

Beonka Reed of 920 Woodstock Ave. was charged with receiving stolen property, failure to comply with the order of a police officer, and possession of crack cocaine. She was booked in the Wood County Justice Center and held on a $67,500 bond.

According to police, officers tried to stop a 2007 Ford Mustang for a traffic violation on Bacon Street. The driver failed to stop and led police on a chase on residential streets and on State Rt. 65 in Rossford. The pursuit went into Toledo and onto Bangor Street, then back into Rossford, police said.

After the vehicle was disabled on Harbor View at Eagle Point Road, the driver was arrested.

Ms. Reed was interviewed by Toledo police concerning her alleged involvement with the theft of the Mustang near Arlington Avenue, police said.
