Suspicious fire damages houses in Old West End

A house in the Old West End was destroyed and two others were damaged during a fire Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Firefighters were called to 921 Lindsey Ave., near Detroit Avenue, about 4:20 a.m. and found the house engulfed in flames.

The blaze spread to two neighboring houses, each of which were occupied. The residents escaped unhurt, authorities said.
