Toledo police seek tips about shooting
4/16/2009Toledo police are asking for the public s help identifying a suspect in a West Toledo shooting earlier this week.
Police released video from the Speedway gas station at 1708 Tremainsville Road where a quarrel started that led to David Gonzales, 25, being shot in the left eye on Tuesday. He was taken to Toledo Hospital for non life threatening injuries, police said.
The video shows a man at the gas station counter on a cell phone wearing a dark jacket with stripes on the sleeves and a dark hat minutes before the incident that occurred about 2:40 a.m. Tuesday.

The argument apparently started in the store and then two vehicles followed each other through West Toledo and shots were fired in the 900 block of Broer Avenue.
Another video released by police shows the suspect s white vehicle with chipped paint involved in the incident. It s believed to be a Chevrolet Lumina.
