Ruptured propane line forces evacuations in Wood County

BOWLING GREEN Several homes were evacuated on Anderson Road between State Rt. 582 and State Rt. 199 in Wood County after a BP propane pipeline ruptured shortly before 8 p.m.

The stretch of Anderson affected was in the northwest corner of Webster Township.

Firefighters from Middleton Township were dispatched to the scene, sheriff s deputies said.
