State library convention in 2011 is set for Toledo

Toledo will host the 2011 Ohio Library Council Annual Convention, the Greater Toledo Convention and Visitors Bureau announced.

The Ohio Library Council is the statewide professional association representing the interests of the state s public libraries and their trustees and employees.

The convention, set for Oct. 24-28, 2011, is expected to draw about 500 people from across the state.

It will have an economic impact of $350,000, said Dave Nolan, president of the convention and visitors bureau.
