OSHA cites 2 companies in region for violations

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited employers at two northwest Ohio job sites for alleged violation of federal safety rules.

Southeastern Containers, Inc., Bowling Green, faces tentative fines of $21,000 for seven serious infractions found at the firm's Industrial Drive plant by inspectors from OSHA's Toledo office in January and February.

BOSS Construction, Hills- dale, Mich., has been assessed tentative fines of $18,000 for one willful and one repeat violation found April 13 at a construction site at Albon Road and Airport Highway in Springfield Township. Both firms can appeal the findings.
