Maumee man stabbed early Monday morning

A man was stabbed early Monday outside his house at Sackett Street and Spring Street near Key Street and Anthony Wayne Trail, authorities said.

The name and condition of the man were not released.

The victim was stabbed about 2:30 a.m. when he stepped outside after hearing a noise. The man with the knife then fled the scene, according to Maumee police.

There was no word on arrests in the case as of 9 a.m., police said.
