Data sought on attack in Findlay

FINDLAY The Findlay/Hancock County Crime Stoppers program is seeking information about an incident during which a man was cut with a knife and robbed of a wallet and a shirt by three other men, authorities said.

The robbery occurred about 1 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Madison Avenue in northern Findlay, authorities said.

The three men came from the area of a trailer park at 425 Monroe. One of them punched the victim while another cut him with a butterfly knife.

The suspects then robbed the victim of a wallet and a red jersey shirt and fled. The shirt had Mayberry 08 printed on the back.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-425-8477. Callers may remain anonymous and may qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
