An unidentified man was shot multiple times Saturday afternoon outside the downtown Toledo Greyhound Station at North Michigan Street and Jefferson Avenue. The assailant fled in a 2002 burgundy Jeep Grand Cherokee, authorities said.
Police have yet to identify the victim, who received at least three gunshot wounds to the chest. The shooting occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Lee Overton, 18, was working inside the bus station when he heard gunfire.
"I was on my lunch break and all I heard was three or four gunshots, and I came out here and I see a dude on the ground," Mr. Overton said. "He was holding his stomach and bleeding."
Police began searching for a man in a dark blue shirt.
