A homeless man accused of robbing a Key Bank branch in downtown Toledo was arraigned Monday morning at Lucas County Municipal Court, authorities said.

Ronald Lewis Harris, 35, who is listed as homeless in the county jail booking summary, was arrested without incident about 10:30 p.m. Friday at a Telegraph Road motel, according to the FBI. Charged with robbery, he was ordered held at the jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond, pending a preliminary hearing set for May 18, according to the jail records.

A man with a mustache and a goatee walked into the bank at 245 North Superior St. at Madison Avenue when the bank opened at 9 a.m. Wednesday and handed a teller a note demanding money. After she complied, the man fled with the cash, according to the FBI.

A security-camera tape from a TARTA bus led them to the arrest, according to Toledo police.

No one was hurt, and no weapon was seen during the robbery, Toledo police said.
