5/11/2009

A fund-raiser for an 8-month-old Toledo boy with cancer who is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatments will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge in Sylvania Township.

Bryson Palmer, son of Scott and Katie Palmer of Toledo, was diagnosed in January with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that occurs in infants and young children. Bryson has high risk stage 3 neuroblastoma, and he has a large tumor in his abdomen that will require surgery, the Palmers said.

Tickets for the benefit, at 3520 North Holland-Sylvania Rd., are $18 at the door and $15 in advance and can be purchased at loveforbabybryson.com.
