Delphos woman seriously hurt in car-truck crash in Allen County

DELPHOS, Ohio A Delphos woman was criticall hurt in a car-semi crash Thursday on U.S. 30 at Buettner Road east of this Allen County community, authorities said.

Linda Miller, 59, was listed in critical condition about 8 a.m. Friday at Lima St. Rita s Mercy Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said. The crash occurred about 10:20 p.m. Thursday, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Ms. Miller was driving a car south on Buettner when she failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of a westbound tractor-trailer rig on U.S. 30 driven by T. Declan Crowley, 44, of Two Rivers, Wis., troopers at the patrol s Lima post said. They did not say whether she was wearing a seat belt.

Mr. Crowley was not injured in the crash, the troopers said. The accident remained under investigation.

Delphos is about 60 miles southwest of Toledo.
