City of Toledo, police union continue contract talks

6/3/2009

The negotiating teams for the city of Toledo and the Toledo Police Patrolman's Association met their appointed fact-finder for nearly nine hours yesterday without reaching an agreement on a new contract.

The Finkbeiner administration is seeking deep concessions from the city's safety forces unions.

The next meeting with fact-finder Harry Graham is Tuesday. The two sides are in negotiations on a contract to replace one that expired in December.
