SANDUSKY, Ohio Charges have been dropped against an Ohio man arrested while mowing the lawn at a public park, but the case could sprout up again.

The prosecutor s office in Sandusky says officials will review the available materials and may then consider criminal charges against 48-year-old John Hamilton.

He had pleaded not guilty to counts of obstructing official business and disorderly conduct filed after his May 28 arrest.

Hamilton said the park s grass was unkempt and he wanted to make it look better.

A police report noted the grass was more than a foot high. But authorities said Hamilton s mower was spewing grass and trash onto sidewalks and said he refused an order to stop.

Prosecutor Lynne Gast-King says police instructions need to be heeded.
