Police identify man found dead at South Toledo mobile home park

A man was found beaten to death Thursday morning in a South Toledo mobile home park.

The man has been identified by police as Jeffrey Patterson, 49.

He was found about 6 a.m. propped against a perimeter walll by a stop sign at the entrance to the Byrnehill Mobile Home Park, 3601 Hill Ave.

Residents of the mobile home community say police arrived at their complex about 6:45 a.m. Thursday and started knocking on doors to find witnesses.

Residents said they knew the man lived across the street in an apartment complex and that he was an inspector at a company on South Avenue.
