Gibsonburg school board grants raises to nonteaching staff

GIBSONBURG Nonteaching employees in the Gibsonburg school district are to receive a 2 percent raise this year and a 1.75 percent raise next year under a new contract approved by the school board this week.

The three-year contract with the Ohio Association of Public School Employees union calls for a wage reopener in the third year. The contract, which covers about 30 employees, replaces one set to expire June 30.
