The Lucas County Board of Commissioners is seeking volunteers to apply for a four-year seat on the Mental Health Recovery and Services Board.
The board, which meets on the third Tuesday of each month, is entrusted to oversee mental-health programs in Lucas County, including substance-abuse prevention and recovery assistance for people experiencing mental health or addictive disorders.
Applicants must fill out an Application for Public Volunteer form and provide a detailed resume.
The form is available at county offices in Government Center in downtown Toledo, or may be obtained by calling 419-213-4500 or by visiting the county Web site, co.lucas.oh.us.
The deadline for applications is July 9.
