MONROE - The dive team from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office yesterday recovered the body of a 47-year-old Woodhaven, Mich., man who went missing in Lake Erie the night before, the U.S. Coast Guard said.

The man disappeared from a 25-foot pleasure boat about 12 miles offshore from the Fermi 2 plant in northern Monroe County, according to the U.S. Coast Guard office in Detroit. U.S. and Canadian authorities searched with boats and aircraft after the man went missing. Authorities did not release his name yesterday.
