A former Toledo police officer, who was scheduled to be sentenced Friday on charges that stemmed from claims he inappropriately touched women during traffic stops, requested to withdraw his previously entered pleas.

Christopher McQueen, 43, was charged this year with five counts of sexual imposition. In May, he pleaded no contest to four reduced counts of unlawful restraint, which each carry a maximum sentence of six months in prison.

Attorney Jay Feldstein entered an oral motion to withdraw those pleas and said he would file a written motion for the request within the next two weeks. David Toska, chief of the city s prosecutor s office, said the office would be opposing the request.

Toledo Municipal Court Judge Amy Berling set a Sept. 4 date to consider the request.
