BOWLING GREEN - A Bowling Green man was killed in a three-vehicle accident Friday morning outside the city.

James Didham, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on State Rt. 64 at Bishop Road in Wood County's Plain Township.

The crash occurred about 5:50 a.m. when a pickup truck being driven west on Bishop by Jason Stewart, 37, of Luckey, didn't stop at a stop sign and collided with Mr. Didham's car, which was southbound on Route 64, troopers at the Ohio Highway Patrol's Bowling Green post said.

Mr. Stewart was taken to Wood County Hospital with non life threatening injuries, troopers said.

The third vehicle involved was a van being driven east on Bishop by Matthew Elder, 39, of Bowling Green. The van was hit by Mr. Didham's vehicle when it spun around after the initial collision. Mr. Elder declined treatment at the scene.
