Weekend smog levels expected to be mild
7/25/2009Toledo-area asthmatics should be OK outdoors this weekend.
Toledo s environmental services division, which monitors air pollution in Lucas and Wood counties for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, sees no problem on the horizon with the region s smog level.
Even with temperatures climbing back into the 80s, it has forecast good air conditions for today and tomorrow, satisfactory for Monday and good for Tuesday. Smog tends to get worse as temperatures climb.
