A Northwood man allegedly involved in a scheme to sell bogus firearms training certificates was bound over to Wood County Common Pleas Court yesterday on a felony charge.
Michael Davenport, 38, is charged with forgery. Perrysburg Municipal Judge S. Dwight Osterud allowed him to continue to be free on $20,000 bond.
Mr. Davenport is accused of referring customers to Jason Hernandez, a Perrysburg Township firearms instructor authorities say sold more than 130 forged firearms training certificates. Mr. Hernandez is charged with forgery and tampering with records.
