Alexandria Taylor, 27, of 2226 Broadway was charged with two alternate counts of felonious assault. She faces up to eight years in prison if convicted.

Authorities said Ms. Taylor hit Joseph Muniz, 42, also of Toledo, with the car after an argument in the parking lot of Charleston s Bar, 402 Broadway. The incident occurred at 2:20 a.m. Aug. 13 and resulted in Mr. Muniz being hospitalized.

Witnesses told police that the incident escalated from a fight outside the car that the couple had a short time before. The car was parked on the road at the time, authorities said.
